B/c they feel the need to build up their self -esteem by putting others down. When other ppl laugh or agree w/ them it's like a drug to an addict it feeds them. They are possibly insecure w/ themselves and use this as a means to hide what's going on in their lives.

I truly belive its cuz they are insecure and they do it to others cuz they think they wont be picked on, bullied or looked at as "unpopular" I also think they would rather scare people into compliance..rather than be nice!! I also think that most all of the snotty girl's so called popularity isnt deserving and true...its just that everyonne is either scared of her or they are just followers who feel that they will tag along with her so noone picks on them...please know what helped me thru the years of both young snottys and even now with :the perfect mom/wife snottys: in the world is I do know im better then them cuz I truly try to be nice first to people rather than a constant "b**ch! ----hope this helped!

bECAUSE THE RIGHT GUY HASN'T PUT THEM IN THEIR PLACE,I DON'T SAY THAT AS IF I'M A CHAUVINIST BUT NOTHING HURTS THE EGO LIKE HAVING THE OPPOSITE SEX PUT THAT EGO IN ITS PLACE.EITHER WAY GUY ON GIRL ,GIRL ON GUY.AFTER THE SNOTTY NOSE LITTLE GIRLS HAVE SOME REJECTION THEY COME DOWN.

I think they are insecure about themselves. I feel sorry for mean people, because they have problems. If you have to be mean to someone to make yourself feel better, then you need help.
