My husband's ex keeps phoning me at work and today she came in and I called security. They suggested she leave and after a little coersing she left only to inform people as she went out all the nasty things about her ex. Now, I met my husband after he was divorced from her. No matter what the details are I don't think I deserve to be harassed by her. Give me some advice please!

1. talk with your husband and agree on what to do
2. call the police and file a report any time she calls or goes near you. keep a log of when she calls, what she says, when she shows up around either of you, what she says/does, etc
3. get a restraining order. keep the original somewhere safe and keep a copy everywhere you have her restrained from (your home, your place of employment, your husbands place of employment, etc)
4. if she violates the restraining order, and she probably will due to her personality, call the police right away as well as document it in the log you are keeping
5. definitely check on the stalking laws for your state/area. if they enforce this in your area, then charge her with it

I hope all of this helps. Good luck!

she is acting crazy but don't let that dismiss the fact that what she is saying is true oviously she thinks he is a dangerous guy and is probably trying to help in her own weird way i really don't understand why she would even bother with you though my ex is an *** but i didn't look back after my divorce for that exact reason How serious are the things she is saying is he a sociopath or massicist just becareful i think she is telling the truth most ex wifes oviously know their ex husbands well thats why thats a man biggest fear is to have the x talk to his current wife because he'll have to make her look crazy or lie through his teeth so you don't start seeing who he really is.

OK Here's a fresh approach. It's mean and untraceable. Go to the library to the periodical section. Take every subscription card out of every magazine you can find and fill them out with her address. Mark them as "Bill Me Later". She will receive several magazines she didn't order plus the invoices asking her to pay for them. I told you it was mean.

I've been through this nightmare. I assume they have kids together?? Your husband needs to get tough with her. If you let her have any kind of power over you {or him} she will never quit. Only communicate when it involves the kids.. the court can help with this...But you both must be together on it. Good luck..I left him over this nonsense. ongoing for 3 yrs!!! Too much to bear.

Check out the laws on "Stalking" too... Definitely get a Restraining Order... and if she continues to pursue you ... she is stalking you... and that is a more serious offense...

Restraining order for your work place and home and a min distance separating from her in public. she sounds dangerous.

She could have a mental disorder

Good Luck and God Bless!!
