it really depends on your first language.
english is german based french corrupted.
so either of those can be easy to learn, the difficulties with german are, grammar and pronunciation. english speakers have a hard time with the guttural sounds. french is easy as well but harder to practice because native french speakers can be intimidating. i speak english, dutch (flemish), german, french, spanish, romanian. the best way i found to learn languages is to first fall in love with a land and culture then submerse yourself in its language. you wont learn a language if you dont like those who speak it!

Mathematic is considered to be language and I think probably it's easiest language to learn out there because you can say that mathematic is universally used. Also if you see when foreigner coming in states or any other countries, some of them can not speak english well or not at all. However, they can do the math to certain level.

English is considered by many nations as THE hardest language to learn.. For a native English speaker, German and Spanish are the easiest to learn, followed by any of the LATIN based languages. Middle eastern and eastern are some of the hardest, as the language and structures are completely different.

I speak english as a first and french is my second language.
English makes fewer demands on you with gender and pronunciation. Of course english was the easiest to learn because I started when I was under a year old. French came along when I moved to Quebec in my 20's.

Malay, also spoken as the official language of Indonesia. Easiest because its grammar is easiest. Simple verb forms, none of the annoying masculine/feminine/random distinctions of many European languages (in Spanish the word for bra is classed as masculine, while a tie is classed as feminine)
Simple English is easy enough to learn well enough to be understood, but to use English properly requires thought. Lots of people can't seem to distinguish "there" from "their", and much else. Refer to the book "Eats Roots and Leaves".

THERE IS NO WAY IT IS RUSSIAN! My girlfriend is American and I am Russian and I can tell you from first-hand experience that is most certainly NOT the easiest language to learn. ENGLISH is by far much much easier to learn, especially at it's very basic levels. A little bit of English goes a long way. A little bit of Russian goes NOT very far at all..

American Sign Language! The grammer structure is difficult, but the signs are easy to remember. I guess some Universities consider ASL a language.

My first language is Flemish. I think the Latin rooted languages are the easiest to learn in my opinion. But i don't think a German speaker would neccesarily agree with that.

The one your parents or carers speak. There are many many languages in the world and they are all easy to learn when you are a little baby growing up amongst people speaking to you.
