...trigger more violent American deaths like the previous decapitations which have already occurred [along with the decapitations of some non-American innocents as well]?

Decapitation is unspeakable to me. I am aghast at the idea of even one more innocent dying that way, even if it was with a guillotine which I think we ALL know they do NOT use....I wish we would cut off his head, put it on a stick & display it the way the barbarians used to do to in lieu of the demon he was!

I do. They will lie low as they plan their next attack, but it should send a message to them that their days are truly numbered.

How could it trigger more since it hadn't stopped in the first place? If the terrorists weren't blowing innocent people up in the first place and there was a truce, then it would be possible to trigger more violence. But the bad guys hadn't halted their attacks so no it isn't going to trigger more attacks.

It could, but they will be less organized. You have to remember that Zarqawi planned everything (accord to Col. David Hunt Ret.) in Iraq when it came to IED and suicide bombers. They might be mad at us for blowing him up but we'll just turn around and use the same bombs (or bigger ones) on them. I actually think the attacks will go down. But we won't really know for a while now.

No doubt there will be retaliation...but it would be insanity to think we'd be better off letting him run around. Do you think he would be all warm and fuzzy if he were alive today?
