she got told 'you make everything look to easy' (paraphrased)
and isn't that what the 'pros' do.......make difficult moves look 'easy' isn't that part of it-suceeding in performance?

I agree, that was a horrible reason to give her and I don't blame her for being so angry. You're right, professional dancers are supposed to make it look easy. The audience is supposed to enjoy the performance, not sit there in worry and agony over what the dancer is going through.

I think the last (was it?) boy (who was part of a boy/girl pair and the girl didn't get picked) had a point about the judges also using "type" casting besides just talent. Not that that is a bad thing (according to my daughter, the dancer), as shows must also cast for types and not just talent. And, when you think about it, "So you think you can dance?" is a SHOW and not just a talent contest. So that last girl was certainly good enough, but probably not the right type to move on.

As a dancer, I will let all of those who don't dance that we are SUPPOSED to make it look easy. If she got kicked off the show for that reason, clearly there are not professionals running the show. Just a quick question, does anyone recognize the name Trumpie Card?

I didn't think any of the were good enough to stay? Seems to be a less than most dancers year to me.

she was really good and that sucks that she got kicked off, but, did you see the way she totally shoved the one girl that stayed (when she was coming through the curtains)? that was totally uncalled for! especially since its not HER fault the judges kicked her (the one in green) off!

auditions however, were hilarious, did you see that one big-lipped conceited guy that swore he was hot s*hit! he walked on stage and was like "where do i put my coat...its mink" (or something to that extent) the judges were like: RIGHT! lol. boy did he suck!
(however i give him props for trying, and being WAY better than me anyday! LOL!)
