I had a nose job last Thursday and under my eyes are really bruised. I'm going back to work Monday and I can't get my makeup to cover these bruises. Does anyone have any home remedies that will speed up the healing process? I've heard margarine or heat helps...

Bruising is bleeding under the skin (small vessels) they will slowly absorb back in to the tissue...don't use margarine..with it around your eyes heat may cause swelling (very fragile skin around eyes) cold stops the bleeding but you have moved past that..just be patient..first their there and then they will be gone...

With a raw steak! As soon as possible! Take a steak out of the 'fridge' and place it directly over the bruise'!
I watched my Grandma do this to my Uncle when I was a little girl and it worked every time! You leave the cold meat on the bruise for about 15 minutes at a time!

I had a nose job years ago too. Try ice on the area. Nothing really takes the bruiseing away because it is blood that has leaked into the tissues. It took about two weeks for mine to disapear.

use Arnika creme(sport-und Massage creme).

I use for my son when he had a eye bruises from accident. for maximum 3 days heals the bruise by the 4th day. it totally disappeared. the healing also depends on how large or big the bruises and as well your patient and your time to apply it 4 to 5 times a day if can and if you could ask your doctor to prescribe you for inflammation as well that will surely help faster the healing process. goodluck

Just put a spoon into the freezer for 5 minutes, and place it onto your eye socket for five minutes, and then repeat for the other eye. If that doesn't work, just give it time, and take some iron supplements.
