Have you or your husband tried to see if either of you are infertile?

I was infertile for 17 years , I had a miscarriage at 15. During the 17 years I had gone through fertility test of all kinds. It wasn't til I was caught off guard and in a not so great relationship when I found out I was pregnant.I have two kids now.
My advice to you is to stop trying so hard , relax, and when you and your husband have sex , try resting your ankles on his shoulders and try to hold you legs up in the air ( or against the wall) for 5 minutes, after sex. I' m not sure if thats how I got pregnant , but thats the position we used. Good luck and be patient.

Lisa, to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job

dont worry just try. i think 5 months is not a big period. if u have ur periods regular u can try from 13 to 17 day of ur cycle as u will have lot of chance to get concevied. if ur not satisfied with this go to a well practised gyncelogist and try for a baby. all the very best.

Well I was in the same boat you are..About 4 months ago..I kept trying and trying and finally I decided I was going to give up..But my husband didn't let me, and we had sex every day, even tho I wasn't consciously trying I think my mind was..if you understand that, but as soon as I stopped trying I got pregnant..Use a site to track when you're ovulating, that helps alot, elevate your hips, and use man on top position.

Me and my partner tried for about a year then decided not to worry and think about it all the time, think we must have forgot altogether as i didn`t find out i was pregnant till i was 4 months gone!!!so just relax and dont stress as it`s still early days,i`d wait about a year then maybe go see your doctor as all he`d prob tell you just now is to relax and give it time, good luck and have fun trying, dont turn it into a chore!!

The average couple takes 6 to 8 months to conceive. If it is still a year and you are not pregnant...your best bet is to both have a fertility checkup with your doctors.
