OK, for drama I have to do a mime project, and we have to do a story (with a climax and everything) that includes
- climbing stairs
-climbin a ladder
-climbing a rope
- walking a
or running

It has to be "larger than life"..almost like a comic strip kind of humor... any ideas or plot settings that would include these actions?
my ideas so far:
- A haunted house
-a boot camp
-breaking into a house

any ideas???? My creativity is running low right now...

I think your choices are all good for including those actions.

What about a sailor aboard an old ship? You can show what the character is with that little hornpipe dance and salutes.

Stairs would be getting onto the ship or going below decks. You can generate some humor with the sea tossing you back and forth, maybe even seasickness. You could set up an obstacle here, perhaps by pulling a rope, it causes a sail to move which knocks you over. You move it the other way and the sail knocks you over inthe other direction. Finally, you get the hang of it and play.

then, you get an order to to go up to the cro'ws nest, perhaps by a rope ladder, Once there, you look out of a telescope (once you get it turned around the right way) and see a pirate ship. You would, of course have to mime pirate things to the crew below until they understand. Walking with a peg leg could be interesting.

Then... the pirates attack! Maybe you catch a cannonball in the stomach... or have to load a cannon with very heavy cannonballs -- the cannon tips down and you have to push it back up.

What if you have to have a sword fight climibing up a rope? Or... if you're climbing the rope to get away from the pirates but you can't draw your sword... you ask the pirate to stop for a second and finally you are able to pull out your sword and wave it triumphantly over your head -- cutting the rope in the process! You fall to the ground, of course, but first with a look up at the rope, at your sword, the audience, then fall.

There could be some swordplay back and forth. Maybe the pirate rushes you and you duck and he goes over the side.

but there are still more pirates. AHA! You remember the sail! By pulling the rope (and then ducking) you are able to defeat the pirates -- maybe you push the sail to really get them gone. You take the ship's wheel and turn the ship in a new direction (good chance for leaning and almost falling) and wave goodbye to the pirates once and for all. You might even give them a nanana...(stick your thumbs in your ears and wave your fingers while sticking out your tongue), but you almost lose your balance and have to grab hold of the wheel again.

Just off the top of my head. Is that cartoony enough?

here is a scenario: your walking down the street and you see something of value (money, jewelry, etc.) you pick it up and you look back and someone begins to chase you because they are the owner of the property so you run. The owner chases you in an alley you see a ladder in the alley so you climb the ladder. you run down the steps of the building and you run some more the guy is still chasing you so you run to the park and in the park there is a tree house with a rope attached so you climb up the rope and then pull the rope up so the owner wont find you and you hide until the owner stops looking. you climb down the rope and the owner is in the bushes and he catches you and gets his property and you walk away all sad.

Ok. Here's a good title first off. Call it, "I just couldn't take another day at work". First, run to the store and buy a ladder and a rope. Then walk back home thinking about what you are doing. Climb the stairs to the attic. Then hang yourself. Simple.
