neither. stay out of it...otherwise, you end up in the middle. & may end up loosing a friend.....

The fight could also blow over & they will be friends again.

Neither. Talk to them both on the phone and tell them you are arranging peace talks, and that they had better both attend because you refuse to be put into the position of being forced to choose between two people you care about.
When you all meet, get them talking about how they can resolve their differences. Make certain they both know that hitting is not an option at this meeting, and that if anybody starts hitting, the police will be coming to arrest the abuser. Whoever starts with fighting words to try to instigate the hitting should be told to grow up and learn to negotiate peace, because friends who are true are not easy to find and should not be quickly discarded. Best wishes.

What was the fight over? Unless you feel one way or another you should stay impartial, but if the fight in one way or another made you loose respect for one or both of your friends, then I would stand up for what I believe in. If you feel it wasa misunderstanding maybe you could play devils advocate, but again, if you have no strong feelings one way or another, then you should just stay out of it.

I would keep out of it and not see either one for the time being . Give them a chance to cool off or it will look like you are choosing sides & playing favorites .

True friends don't take sides. Let them cool off for a while and hopefully they'll talk to each other again soon.

Don't put yourself in the middle of their problem. Your freinds with both of them. They'll work it out one day.

why do you have to choose?
both are your friends right?
so, just keep on talking to them and be a bridge that would bring back their friendship.. that's what friends are for right?
