The audio is so poor in some films it is hard to hear some of the dialog. I turn up the volume on my t.v., when a commercial comes the volume blasts louder. I just wish film producers put more emphasis on speech clarity than on food scenes with actors cramming as much food into their mouths as possible. Then, trying to present their dialog.
I would rather pay attention to a good movie than watch a deplorable presentation. When ever I see this on t.v. I switch channels.

Hmm... I just notice that no matter what system i use to watch a movie at home, the music & sound effects are always much louder than the dialogue and i have to constantly be turning the volume up and down! It doesn't matter if I'm watching w/ digital surround sound or on my little combination TV/DVD player!
It's really annoying!
