I just got contacts and it needs getting used too. Its really hard for me to put them on. I still dont no how that good, but Im practicing. First you open your eye with the index finger of your other hand and you pull down your eye with the hand of the same eye. Then you put the contact on your index finger and try not to blink (which i do a lot) Its really hard not to blink because its like a nerve. The doctors will show you anyway. Colored contacts do not hurt your eyes, but most of them look fake so i just got clear because you eyes are made to match your face and if you change that color your eyes wont match any more.
~~~hope this helps (also if you have any questions e-mail me at ayahjaafar@yahoo.com)
That rumor is false sweetie. First of all don't listen to every idiot who gives you advice. I've been wearing contacts for about five years now. I started out with clear disposables. Then I graduated to my current gray/hazel colored ones. If you get the disposable ones (where you'd wear them for about two weeks before throwing away) they may be more comfortable if its your first time getting them. They're very thin (just like the colored ones) and comfortable. You'll barely know they're in your eyes. So don't worry. Contacts made my life a hell of a lot better. But my advice... get the disposables. They'll give you about a 6 months supply and you'll have plenty if you screw up on a pair. Good luck.
If you get them from a doctor then there shouldn't be a problem. Color contacts are no more dangerous than regular contacts. Find a color you like and run with it.
Colored contacts are fine as I have worn them since 1990. And if your oder them online, they are also fine you will be required to have a prescription before you can order them online.
If you do wear colored contacts, you will not see as far or as clear as you will in non-colored contacts, it is due to the tint on the contact. But you really will not notice it unless you wear clear contacts for a day then you can see the difference.
Color contacts only hurt if you order them online instead of
getting them personally fitted by an eye doctor.
Its a rumor. Just remember to take them out every night and put them in contact solution so they get cleaned. And if tehy are disposables make sure to dispose of them in the proper time frame (2 weeks, 1 month, ect.)
Colored are fine.
You need to be sure that you remove them every night and soak them in disinfectant and clean they well. Wash your hands before you handle them and you will be fine.
I have worn contact for many years and never had any problems.I have had some that were colored. They are a nice change of pace.
First thing don't buy them just anywhere. Get them at the eye doctors office. Make sure they test and measure your eyes first for a perfect fit. That way they won't ruin your eyes
