The doctor would test the mans partner to see how much weight they have gained in the last 15 years, this is usually the cause of diminished sex drive. I am not being a smart azz here, this is one of the many questions they will ask you.

They might test you testosterone levels, if that is normal, they may just say that you simply have a low sex drive. Not ALL men have the constant urge to have sex every 5 minutes. Good luck.

I agree with the first answer..testosterone level..that is the male hormone,,..women actually have a little as well..I am sorry you are having a problem..could their also be a problem with depression?..this may not be the case but sometimes chemical imbalance in the brain can cause this and or are there medications that you are on be the culprit?
