How can i cutoff my motorcycle chaps correctly?

Turn them inside out. Put them on.
Get a marker and feel for
your .... whatever parameters you want er...
exposed? Make dots on each leg.
Take the pants off. Lay them on the bed,
still turned inside out. Match up the dots
and cut through all 4 pieces of fabric
while pulling it taut so as to get an
even cut.
