I don't believe it to be Cardiac related...I have been through stress tests and everything else in the past few months because of chest pain...but it turned out that it was chronic bronchitis left undiagnosed...so I was a few different meds for a few weeks and have been fine for a week...no cough now though.

This could be pain from left over bronchitis (breast bone gets sore from coughing or breathing harder) but as the same time it could be cardiac related..so if this persists and you are concerned see the ER for care...

Chest soreness would even be a rib out of position. Happened to me. I had soreness for a pair days. If you obtained hit, or your ribcage used to be compressed, would be a likelihood. Could be visible on an x-ray and even felt by way of a well surgeon or chiropractor.

Yeah, I have an idea. Get your butt to an emergency room now.

You may not be having a heart attack, but it sure sounds like it.
