Many country's in the Middle East, allow a man to have multiple wives. Wives are not allowed to have multiple husbands, however. In Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran and the United Arab Emirates, multiple wives are the general rule.

I believe in Muslim countries it must be legal cause it is a current practise, although not widespread nowadays. However, for what I have learnt, you do see the odd man with two wives...
To "Panacea": Yes, sure, it is better to marry to one person but then go around cheating on her with other women, lusting over other women, as well as badmouthing her any chance you can, that is waaaayyyy more honest aint it?

yup but they have laws surrounding it like algeria you have to provide a house for each wife and i think you can only have 2. other countries its different.
