This depends on what you consider a Wife. If you only regard a wife to be the woman who is legally regarded as married to a man, then no. If you regard marriage to be the commitment of people to remain together without concern for legal endorsement, then yes.

The Mormons of Utah do that--but they're not legally wed, just one wife under law, then lots of concubines. So, no, it's not legal
