Most pistons are not perfectly circular; instead they are imperceptably oval. This prevents them from trying to turn as they travel up and down in the cylinder bore. The arrow is for alignment purposes. Point them all toward the "belts" and everything should be okay.

arrows gennerally go towards the front why?

the wrist pin pin that holds piston to connecting rod is actually off center in the piston this helps decrease the angular forces on the piston especially the skirt on the thrust side it also reduces rocking of the piston in the bore aka piston slap.

Arrows in thr piston envisages that you put it in the cylinder in upright position and match the belt.
