Hell Mr. Confused!
Well, admitting you are confused, you can reach to solutions and clear everything out!
Well, primitive people used to be, initially in families. They were hunting and collecting food (fruits, etc.). Mostly;y they were eating where they would find their food. Hunted animals were brought "home" (usually a cave or similar shelter). There after the preparation they were eating (economy: who eats, what and how much?). Thus economy started developing.
For example, in ancient kingdoms, people were working and they were receiving food. Well, let say we have 10 workers and 7 loafs of bread! Thus, math were needed!
A revolution happen during the Golden Age (in Athens, while Pericles was the President of the Democracy). The greatest Teacher ever, Socrates, defined Economics as a science!
Since then, we have not add anything great, except we deal with minor issues, like how banks can make people poorer and more depended on them!

The Egyptian civilization. They were so better with reference to drugs, which many different civilizations merely stuck up with centuries later. That and the Aztec/Maya/Inca civilizations. those peoples were progression pyramids on the time the Egyptians were. followed with assistance from the Anasazi. What the hell did ensue to them? except the theory that the elements replaced and foodstuff and water grew to grow to be scarce. i'd like to discover that there is yet another clarification for his or her disappearance.
