"Eat the food you gathered yesterday. Today is a Sabbath, the Lord's day of rest;"
"This is what the Lord commanded, because tomorrow is the Sabbath, the Lord's holy day of rest."
"but the seventh day is a day of rest to honor the Lord your God."
"So the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath day"
"So then, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath day."
"Then Jesus said to the Pharisees, 'The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath day.'"
I think that pretty well settels it!

Not so, the Sabbath has, and always has been, according to several scriptural texts, on Sunday. The Lord was crucified on a friday (Day 1, saturday passed by, Day 2, and rose on third Day, Day 3).

This is the God's fourth commandment that he wrote with his own finger in stone a tablet and gave it to Moses. It is the only commandment that has the word "remember" because so many would be deceived believing that the the Lords day some how changed, because some religious power said they had the authority to change God's law.
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God; In it you shall do no work, nor your son, nor you daughter, nor your male servant, nor female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who within your gates. For in six days the Lord made all the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it." Exodus 20:8-11
Correct Jesus Christ was resurrected on the first day of the week, but just like God rested after creation on he seventh day Christ rested in his tomb on the seventh day after his death on Friday.

If you are a believer it doesn't matter - everyday would be the Lord's day. And he certainly wouldn't expect his followers to fight about it.
