Where can I find entertainment, games, learning tools, etc. for bright almost 6 year old granddaughter. We don't have money for subscriptions and I'd like to keep her interested in positive things on the net. She has outgrown most of the kiddy learning stuff..

Okay, well if she likes disney stuff there's playhouse disney.com or something like that and it's kinda kiddy . IF she watches play house disney on the TV she might like it on the computer. There's all these games where you can learn about animals and you can print out coloring sheets for her to color and all that. Another place is neopets.com . I don't know if it's too old 4 her but you get to pick 4 imaginary pets and pick a username and password. Then you play games to get neopoints and then you use that to buy things for your pet. well It's kinda for older kids so you can use it wehn she's maybe eight or nine but you should check it out before you let her use it. Another thing you can use is Yahooligans Games. Just go to the Yahoo homepage and in the searchbox, type in Yahooligans games and they have a lot of games to play. LIke mazes and puzzles and all that.

http://www.neopets.com it's a free site where you take care of a virtual pet. You play games on it to earn "neopoints" in order to buy food and things for your pet. That could help her to understand the value of money.
