IN most if not all states, learners permits are only good within state lines...

Depends in which state you have your learner's permit. Many states require the learner to drive with an adult in the car, as well as have curfews. Check with your state's requirements before crossing state lines.

It really depends on both the state you received your permit in AND the state you will be driving in. Most permits restrict ANY driving to accompanied by an adult, licensed driver.

Unfortunately, no. Most states would prefer drivers have an actual drivers license. And unless you have a licensed driver sitting besides you AT ALL times, you cannot do this by yourself.
