This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Yes, I was 12 weeks pregnant when I found out. I had my period for 2 months. I was on the pill so I thought I was ok. But I now have a 6 year old who is as healthy as can be. So just because there is a period, doesn't mean there isn't a baby.

yeah, if you have sex during your period, you might get pregnant because sperm can live in your vagina swimming toward an egg for like 2 days. but if you had your period a few days after, then that's a pretty good indicator that you're not pregnant, but it's always good to check with a pregnancy test. if you had sex the day before your period and your period was really really short, then you could get pregnant. so test now and test a little bitty later to make sure. better safe than sorry. use protection! make him wear two!

yes you can, but usually your period will be lighter or different then normal, might come earlier or later. But if you bleeding normally you shouldn't be pregnant but take a test to be on the safe side, cuz everyone is different. I think you can still have your period up to three months, but each time you have one it's less bleeding.

Is your cycle normal? Are you having a normal cycle or just spotting? There are rare cases of women having cycles during pregnancy, especially in the first months. If you think you are pregnant, do a test or see a doctor, or go to a free clinic, but find out.

you may also have a condition called 'placenta previa' where your placenta doesnt connect completely to the uterus and causes bleeding. i was 5 months along when i found out i was carrying my son, and that was only just incase for a kidney stone so they wouldnt do xrays. sometimes it will fix itself, sometimes not. if it doesnt, then you will be a high risk pregnancy and may be put on bedrest. i would definately go the your local health dept. and get a test done, they are free, and confidential.
