Electric or acoustic?
If you don't know how to do it I suggest you take it to a music shop and get them to show you how. It's a lot easier to show someone than to just explain it. I figured out how to do it on my own--if you mess around with it a little you'll probably figure it out yourself.

Turn the tuning pegs to loosen the strings. Then take out the pegs that hold the strings. Then attach the new strings leaving some extra to hold the strings on the tuning part of the guitar. Then get it roughly in tune. You will have to tune it 10 more times or so over the next day or so till its right.

Replace one string at a time. Use suitable strings for the type of guitar. I use a gadget called a string winder. talk to someone at your local music store. they will be glad to advise you. Or even show you.
