I'm not sure it's that we lose these wars, we just refuse to win them; leaving the enemies to fight another day.

I want to win so we can get it behind us [for good], but that requires something we [the culture at large] no longer posses: moral clarity, conviction & certainty of purpose.

Korea we lost because we didn't have the necessary support from the Korean peoples. Viet Nam we lost because of politics here-we won every major battle there. We haven't lost Afghanistan or Iraq. We will if the Dems and Liberals have their way though. Just like Viet Nam, we will lose this war if we allow politics get in the way of what needs to be done.

We won in Korea. The goal was to push the North back past the 38th parallel. Last time I checked, they were still there.

We lost Viet Nam because of a lack of political and social will.

If we continue to fight in Iraq and Afganistan by CNN's rules we may lose. If we leave it to the soldiers we can't lose.

American need a gut-check. If CNN was around in 1945 we'd all be eating raw fish heads an rice.

The war on terror may never be won. The battle for Iraqi freedom has already been won. What we are embroiled in now is basically a police action that will continue until the Iraqi people are capable of policing themselves. Perhaps the people loving liberals here in America can volunteer to go to Iraq and teach them the skills they need to govern their country properly. What a wonderful opportunity. The next Great Experiment. I would fully support the effort. Go to on over and show us stupid neo-cons how to make it work. Imagine how great it would be to rub our faces in it that you have been right all along!

Don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out.

I don't buy into liberal media cherry picking reports on Iraq.

Based on all the info I gather, we are winning this time.

Thanks to our troops and Pres. Bush.

P.S. We did not lose the Korean War. I would say it was a tie.
