When I was a kid it was Roger Moore & I almost hated Sean Connery as Bond. When I grew older I saw what all the fuss was about and now rate Sean Connery as the best Bond ever. I liked Timothy Dalton as Bond in his time but his 2 bond films have dated badly as have Roger's.
I quite liked OHMS with George Lazenby, good soundtrack too (Louis Armstrong) - he had potential but not sure if I would have liked him after a few films.

James Bond, is a Scotsman, the author was a Scotsman, so only a Scotsman does it justice.
Sean Connery of course.
Just because I am a Scot. born in the same town as Sean Connery, doesn't mean I am biased. Just true to the cause.

Pierce Brosnan, and I think the "new" Bond Daniel Craig is not going to make the role justice. All the previous Bonds were at least attractive or had a sexy appeal that gave the character this special and particular personality. I believe Mr. Craig will be the exception to the rule.
