if you have have a newer computer (like windows xp) you should already have popup blocker on it already . go to :

start > control panel > internet options > privacy tab > popup blocker

if you have this , you can configure what sites are allowed popups and which ones aren't . if you just turn it on most popups will be blocked .

otherwise if you have any internet security like norton or mcaffee that should also have popup blocker . just read instructions and it will tell you how to configure for popups.

also you can check with your internet provider to see if they have a popup blocker option with your plan .

Check with your internet provider, most have all those tools to
stop pop-ups and spam. They are free, so all you have to do, is download them and set them up.
