The only grief they will give us is the bill they will hit us with, after burying our loved ones.
You are at your lowest, vulnerable and agreeable to most everything they suggest. That would give me a lot of grief.
They also give me grief by running around in those black monkey suits. Every time I see one, I think of Boris Karloff (don't know why) in an old horror flick.

Funeral directors do not give you grief. They are simply doing a job. They are not the director of your feelings or emotions, you are. You choose your own response to any situation, be it grief or happiness. In some cultures when a loved one dies, because they are seen as going home to God, there is a celebration, in other cultures, there is grief.

So why in the world do you think they want you to be happy?
