Why don't you just buy a six pack so that you have some for later.

usually doctors have individual test contacts so they can make sure your prescription is right before you waste your money on a whole box of incorrect lenses. you can check with him to see if he could give you one, but some have to be specially ordered. those are usually free, but doing that is kind of ripping the doctors off. any particular reason why you only need one? i like buying the 6, and sometimes even 12 just so i dont have to worry about it for a long time. as far as i know, contacts are not sold individually other than the free trials.

You can make an appointment with an eye doctor and after that he'll give you for free 2 lenses, but you still have to pay the doctor's visit, which might be up to $75.otherwise you have to buy the whole six pack for $20 or so.I don't think you can find them for free.

Just buy a six pack, and as long as you don't open the ones that you are not using, they will stay good. They can't really sell you one lens, because it just wouldn't been economical for the company.
