I cannot find any oil free moisturizer, cleanser, or makeup that really works. An hour after I apply my makeup I look as if I'm melting!

you can't really cure oily skin, you can help it not be so oily though, an oil free cleanser followed by an oil free moisturizer, then bare minerals foundation and powder works wonders to keep my oily skin under control.

Use a line of facial cleansers and makeup especially for oily skin. Then try to keep your hair off your face. And lastly there's something called rice paper you can buy in beauty supply stores. It comes in small sheets like tiny little kleenex that you pat on your face periodically. They absorb oil without disturbing your makeup. Then you toss them. Note.....don't wash too much, 2x a day is good, because the more you touch your skin the more oil is produced. Good Luck.

I know what your going through, i too have oily skin and it drives me nuts. It gets worse in the summer months though. I use Anew retroactive 2 in 1 cleanser. it works really well. Also with the makeup issue, with oily skin try and use a matte base or one that goes on liquid and turns into a powder finish. Liquid base on oily skin doesn't mix well, trust me. If you are olive complected or darker try using a bronzer instead, it will give you a nice glow. If you have any other questions feel free to email me.

Visit your doctor and get a recommendation to see both a dermatologist and then a nutritionist. This should appropriately address your concerns. I know that this will be successful because I had that problem. After trying to use all kinds of cosmetics, which included astringents as well, the route of the three doctors served me well. You could just call your doctor if he is familiar with your concerns and get the names of a dermatologist and a nutritionist. If you require a recommendation from your doctor, then have him mail to you a written one. You can go forward from there. Otherwise, you will operate as a blind person who truly can not see where he/she is going. Read Psalm 35 to (Plead My Cause) which allows you to show respect by giving God the honor of asking Him for His help in all of your concerns. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

neutrogena's oil free line works great. and clean and clear makes those oil paper things that you can carry around and you can blot the oil on your face off without ruining your makeup. if nothing works then i'd go see a dermatologist.

Mary Kay makes an oil free moisturizer that they claim has little microbeads in it that sop up excess oil.

I don't sell their products or anything, but I know it helped my mom.
