Where did you here that, it has to be longer than 8 or 9 hours because when you sleep in the dark it does show the color black on your eye lids. I've heard that if you stare at a color(A) for a while, and then look at a color(C) that is a combination of color(A) and another (B) and you'll only see color (B).

Okay, but I heard somewhere that if you stare at the color black too long you will go blind. But I think that means extended periods, so if you took off the blindfold every once in a while and revitalised your eyes, you'd most likely be fine. Great idea BTW.

I sometimes try to do yoga with my eyes closed, and I'm always amazed at how much less balance I have that way. The only sense I would give up even temporarily is sight. Not being able to hear, touch or even just to taste or smell would drive me near insane. I'm not a blindfold person either. You can sharpen your other senses by adding more challenges or just consciously being more aware. I doubt anything a blindfold could give me would make up for everything I'd be missing out on at the same time.

In a heartbeat I would give up some of my sense of smell to have better eyesight. My nose is extremely keen, and I can smell things that most other people can't. Trouble is, half the time this is definitely NOT a pleasant thing!

sure, i'm bored stiff with all this vampire nonsense too. each and every man or woman now a days claims to be a vampire or asks questions about yahoo solutions for 'vampires' to chew them so that they are going to be a vampire too. Why may all and sundry ask an complete stranger in the adventure that they seem to be a vampire and ask that stranger to chew them? And besides, in the adventure that they actually were vampires, why announce it to the full international? problem: "hi each and every man or woman, i'm a vampire." *end problem* I do trust in vampires, (i theory vampires existed contained in the Medievil situations, yet they were all killed) yet i imagine this hysteria/fad over vampires has lengthy gone too far. If someone really were a vampire, why announce it to the full international? they could get captured or killed with assistance from a vampire hunter. Which looks extra effectual, being alive wishing to be a vampire or being lifeless and wide-spread. At my college each and each and every of the ladies look to swoon over some vampire said as Edward and a guy said as Jacob. all of them look on both 'team Edward' or 'team Jacob.' I reported i grow to be on 'team Harry Potter' and 'team L' (as in L from Deathnote.) comprehend this, i comprehend i'm A HYPOCRITE, reason I honestly love Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, and prefer to be acquaintances with authentic Pokemon and performance a real operating duel disk, yet i comprehend the Pokemon section received't ensue. I merely imagine human beings are taking this vampire component way too heavily. even as i grow to be 7, i grow to be the merely man or woman to study and watch exhibits and documentaries about vampires, ghosts, extraterrestrial beings (properly you get it), etc. I merely favor the former college vampires. i grow to be making plans on interpreting Twilight, yet when I stated my classmates, I considered now to not. pondering how very almost each and every female, except me likes it, I admit that's a competent e book, yet I in no way study it. properly, there you go, and if all and sundry says i'm a loser for typing all this up, I admit I wasted a impressive form of time merely. ~That grow to be the answer I replied in yet another question. human beings favor somewhat excitment of their lives, even if that is overboard. EDIT: i'm 14 yet not a senseless twit. i do not study Twilight. yet I believe what you typed.

I think that's a really good idea!
I think you're right about the sound and touch being affected the most. Cool idea for an experiment!
