Yes! Remember two main arguments: 1) You simply cannot advance past Detroit, San Jose and Anaheim all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals on the strength of a goalie alone. SOMETHING else must be good about your squad. And 2) Rollie wasn't doing too hot when he went down, and what had the Oilers in it was not him. If they gain discipline, they will take games 3 and 4 to even the series.

They may win one at home, but I don't think they can win four games to take the cup. No, North Carolina was never a hockey state, we were known for our basketball teams, Duke and UNC, but after the Canes win the cup, I think people will rethink that and say, yeah, not only can NC play basketball, they know how to play some kick a*s hockey too. GO CANES!!

The Oilers don't have much oil left to keep their tank going. They are done now that their #1 goalie has been out and isn't returning. The Hurricane will put out the fire that the Oil contributed to in 4 games.

i sure hope so i would rather see a canadian team win the stanley cup, even if it is not my favorite team.
but iam also ok with the fact that if edmonton loses my team has been knocked out by the last two cup champions.

I hope so.
Carolina is NOT a hockey state.
Edmonton is old school hockey, and they deserve it more than anyone else.
