What confuses you? Go and have a cup of tea, then sit down comfortably and listen carefully:

1 metre = 3.28 ft
Therefore 1.73 m = 1.73 * 3.28 ft = 5.6744 ft (use a calculator)
0.6744 ft = 12 * 0.6744 inches = 8.0928 in
So 1.73 m is approx 5 ft 8 in

1 kilo = 2.20 lb
Therefore 53 kg = 53 * 2.2 lb = 116.6 lb
0.6 lb = 16 * 0.6 oz = 9.6 oz
53 kg is approx 116 lb 10 oz
In British units 116 lb = 8 stone 4 lb
53 kg = approx 8 st 4 lb 10 oz

One meter is 39.37".
One kilogram is 2.204 lb.

So multiply 39.37 * (number of meters), to get inches. Then divide the total number of inches by 12 to get the number of feet, and the remainder are the inches.

Multiply 2.204 * (number of kilograms) to get pounds.
