Don't chance it - always turn off your headlights when your car engine is off. That said, I have noticed that people can have their lights on in the car before the battery dies anywhere between a few hours & a bunch of hours (but less than a day).

It cant happen on my car as it has run down protection. Anything using power automatically shuts off in 20 minutes. A good battery might last 6 to 8 hours but it's totally variable.

Depends on the battery, condition of battery, and how much current your headlamps draw.

I can do it in my truck for a half hour or so without worrying. I wouldn't go doing it for hours though!

i might leave it runnin for slightly.. It would not value after like 2500 RPM so in case you take a seat and rev it as much as love 4000 RPM you're basically burnin gasoline. stress it for like quarter-hour and it is going to likely be solid. would desire to hold the cables basically in case with the aid of fact interior the worst case your alternator won't be charging the battery like it is going to. maximum suitable of success
