Mushrooms are a Fungus. Stir them up and Thousands of Spores go everywhere. Normally they enjoy a moist environment. They small now and you can try anything that kill them. The longer you wait, the more spores they make! ;-p Try a Fungicide and just spray where they are, it should not harm your Grass or Flowers. I spray Fungicide around and on my Roses all the time, not see why it not work on Mushrooms.

IIt sounds like you may have recently cut down a tree in that area. One or two years later the mushrooms start. They thrive on the decomposing roots. This will continue for a few years yet before it stops.

Be careful! More than likely they are what we call 'toad stools' and are usually poisonous.
People are right about the spores, but i would go to a garden shop and get whatever they recommend.

Just pull them out.

They won't re-grow. That just where their spores landed and grew under the right conditions.
