No question, no one has the calibur to be the next jordan. There can be a lot of people who make jordan like strides, but never anyone on his plateau. Kobe will definately never be like jordan, even though jodan was a scorer, he got his teamates into the game all the time, kobe does not do that. Kobe is the definition of a gunner.
Lebron is going to be good, but not the best. Lebron can not go anywhere if he stays in cleveland either, they are doing nothing to put the tools around lebron he needs.

Of course there will be another Jordan...all it takes is marketing.

People call Jordan the best ever just because he won six rings... barely half way to the record.

And Jordan never had 'heart' until Pippen decided to become a player. And he also never had 'heart' until Phil Jackson got hold of him... prior to the arrival of Pippen and Jackson, Jordan couldn/t get out of the first round... kind of like Kobe this year... prior to teaming up with Jackson and Pippen, Jordan was just another ball hog who took far more shots than anyone else in the league.

Kobe is already better than Jordan was at that age... on both ends of the floor

I would have to agree. Michael has some tough shoes to fill. Lebron has had an incredible start to his career, though.

lebron has the tools.. he's 10x more athletic than jordan.. the question is will he stay healthy? and does he have the HEART and competitive spirit that jordan had to take it to that level? time will tell..

SOOOO true. He was bigger than life. 6 rings and he had flare. The tongue man! The shoes, the commercials etc. He was more than a basketball player. One less rape(allegedly)than somebody too.

You shouldn't have to go on an open forum to tell people your beliefs, because it really sounds like you are doubting yourself! If he is really the best ever, leave it at that, unless you are starting to question if he is.

No one will ever me like me, either. Or you. Or anyone else. Isn't that special?
