Consider poetry, prose, epics, lyrics, scholarly articles, plays, novels, romances, etc. Check out the references in your other posting for further information. I hope you get the answers ..... tough question!

Of course, novels and "articles" were not written in the 12th Century because the printing press had yet to be invented. However, some tales and stories, poems, the Bible, and songs were all written down and published sparingly because they had to be hand printed.
