It's a good foundation for graduate school, or law school.
It's a good starting point for careers in law enforcement, probation/parole supervision, etc.
-OR-just the fact that it is a college degree, it is evidence of your basic education and your ability to complete a task , so-even if you are interested in a field not related to law/sociology the degree won't hurt you at all..
