"Good Night and Good Luck" or maybe "The Crucible" This whole culture of distrust and fear is the same as the McCartheyist attitude of both movies.
Really and truely, our culture is ruled by fear. Maybe not fear of communism, but fear in general.
I mean, I hate "The Crucible," I don't like Arthur Miller, but it's very, very relevant.

As for a movie showing now I think X-Men 3 reflects many issues about today's world. The "cure" vs being different and who you are.
Also V for Vendetta makes you think about the current political condition and I'm going to say the movie Dogma too.

Three Days of The Condor
hands down..
.it is right on time...the last conversation between Robert redford and Cliff Robertson is chilling in its accuracy...predicting where we are now...from the year 1975. It's more potent than "1984" and "Brave New World" combined. If you have not seen itin awhile...I suggest another viewing.

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963). Well the title anyway, the plots about money grubbing, so I guess that's pretty close too.
