That's why we store most of them in the safe, in case there will be fire.
A few years back our neighborhood suffered a lot from the Old Fire, thankfully our house wasn't been one of those in thousands of houses that has been burned to the ground.
Looking back, one of our neighbors said that nothing could replace the memories of those things that had been burned especially the family photos they had for years.

Having lost so many family members in the last decade, my photo album could not be replaced.

I actually had a house fire and lost everything. The photo albums and the grandmothers quilts held the most regret for us. Irreplaceable!
