There is a dead man in the middle of a field, nothing is around him and there are no footprints of any sort. There is an unopened package next to him. How did he die? HINT: As he approached the field he knew he was going to die.

His parachute didn't open. Basically, I think he was a skydiver whose parachute failed when he flew towards the ground. Thus, he knew he was going to die as he approached the field. This explains the lack of footprints. However, I'm not sure about the unopened package. Maybe it was the parachute that didn't open.

There was a hot air balloon passing a field. It was too heavy, and therefore, one of the passengers had to jump off, or all would die. He was given a parachute, and after he had jumped, the people on the hot air balloon realized they had given him on of the passenger's school backpack. The dead man never realized it.

RATS...big fuggin rats...you see he was hitchin' a ride down the road with this van load of stoned hippies and he cut loose with this really odiferous humongous fart and they tossed him out the van at a high rate of speed in the countryside along with the box of bum clothes he had with him...well heres where the rats come into play...they ate pieces of him while he was unconscience and he done went and bled to death
