If you mean PC (Personal Computer), yes it does. I think the manufacturer of the components usually give warranty for about 5 years. Besides, because of the dust and heat some components will wear out sooner than the others.

It is a good idea to maintain the power supply blower fan and the CPU with brush and air suction once a year or two.

Like just about any other machine, all of the parts in a computer can fail. They can become physically broken, electronic parts can be short-circuited, moving parts become worn through normal use, data stored on drives can be corrupted by any number of means (physical disk failures, viruses, other software or hardware problems). They can also become slow as they get older, due to the hard drive becoming full or fragmented, accumulation of adware and spyware, and also simply that older computers aren't designed to run at speeds or memory capacities needed for many newer applications. In other words, lots of things can go wrong with computers.

The best thing you can do without expensive hardware upgrades is to perform regular maintenance, such as adware/spyware removal and hard drive defragmentation, and to keep current backups of your data on media that is widely used (e.g. CDs or DVDs). That way if you ever needed them on a new computer, you would be sure that they would be usable.

If by wear out, you mean die out early, then no.

A hard drive can, but that usually doesn't happen.

The processor will hardly burn out unless your overclocking the computer. Since your asking this question, i doubt you'll be overclocking.

Even if the computer is left on, all the time, this rarely, rarely ever happens.

*This is like over a period of 3-5 years...not ten years...who the hell keeps the same computer for ten years???

The hardware (or physical parts) dont, but the software on the computer can need maintanence/cleaning. Parts of computers can go out, and the most common is the motor for the hard drive, meaning you need to replace the hard drive and move all of your data. As for the software, there are many free tools you can use to maintain your computer such as AdAware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/. Also, dont forget to Defragment your drive, it'll keep it running faster.

Eventually. The one I had for ten years was starting to when I junked it. Most computers will become obsolete before they wear out, though.

For sure, pretty much anything electronic will eventually wear out, and computers become obselete relatively quickly.

usually moving parts wear out like in the floppy, cd, harddrive and fans but the rest, the electronics wont.

Only the components that have moving parts like drives and fans, everything else would last unless it overheats.

No, as long as you update your box. But don't let it on for numbers of hours. It's not good for the harddrive if it's always too hot.
