I love gay people! Im not gay, I just love them because they are not afraid of who they are. They are different then most in society and they have no shame. They are fun to hang around and are true to themselves.

I am a gay male and I think what you're asking is why people hate the gay lifestyle, not the gay people. If that's the case, I could enumerate a few reasons.

1. There are religious reasons for disliking that lifestyle. Sex is supposed to function for procreation and not self gratification.

2. It's not the norm. Despite how much the media shoves the gay perspective down your throat, it's only been a couple of years since gay sex was even LEGAL in this country. It's not a validated lifestyle yet. It's still on the fringes coupled with subversive, destructive behavior including but not limited to: excessive drug use, high domestic violence rates amongst gay couples, promiscuity and subsequent STD's, and anti-establishmentism.

It may be the case that the problems of gays were handed down to them but the truth is that it does exist, so for someone to want to lead that kind of lifestyle they're either choosing to go it mostly a loner, because they will not be highly integrated in a gay "scene" and culture or they till be completely immersed in it and suffer all the typical ills.

A legal problem with liking gays is that giving them the thumbs up will legally open the door for polygamists. So as gays are granted the rights of heterosexuals the Supreme Court precedent of the Lochner is invoked, and while gays won't destroy marriage or parental rights, polygamists will render the institutions too chaotic to serve any purpose or have the institutions completely dismantled to prevent the previous outcome.

It's not that people dislike gay people, its their lifestyle and social agendum that bring negative reactions. Their activists want the approval of the state at any cost to the majority.

I am a lesbian and I have to say that, although I love everyone, I do not like everyone and that includes some gays and lesbians, but that's pretty much for the same reasons I dont like some straight people. I have a low tolerance for ignorance and narrowmindedness. Though I find less gay people are like that, there are some.

And to the previous user who said what they don;t like is how homosexuals judge others, it's their right to no think homosexuality is wrong. Thats the biggest contradiction I have ever heard? So it's judgemental for us to judge you for judging us???? Thats a whole lotta judging that shouldn't be done lol.

And here we go with adam and eve, not adam and steve. PLZ PLZ PLZ come up with a new slogan. You don't see me typing "We're here, we're queer, get used to us", It's too played out AND a bunch of malarchy...God created them naked too but we have to wear clothes now right? God did NOT create them equal, but we should be treated us such right (men and women). On top of that, do you really, REALLY beieve God created one man and one woman to populate the earth? If so....How's you brother in bed?

The story of Adam and eve is fictional, it tells a story that explained the beginning of time before there was a scientific one. God did however create the first particles that human beings formed from. Since particles have no sexuality nor can they sin, and homosexuality has been around since as far back as we have discovered life....The particles God created developed into all classes of species, including races and sexual orientations and therefore cannot be wrong in His eyes.

It's not that I don't love gay people, I just believe that homosexuality is wrong. The only thing I don't like about gay people is their judgments on others, I have a right to believe that homosexuality is wrong and I shouldn't be called a homo-phob for that. When you love someone you don't have to like everything about them.

I don't like gay people who repress themselves. Who pretend to be straight and all the while their lying to their partner. I hate those on the Down low, that's the same as cheating. I hate those who exaggerate being gay and become the stereotypical gay man. I don't like them, i hate the ones who become Haters against gay men because they are afraid I hate them.

well........i would love to answer you question.....but i've never been judgmental against gays....but i do have a question within a question
Scientifically speaking........why is it impossible to change homosexuality. Why is homosexuality something unchangeable.....i'm not saying its wrong...i would like to know the reasons why it cannot be changed?
Is it just that people should accept who they are and live that way.....well, what if i was born poor, and had no chance to make it in life...should i just give up?
I'm not saying that gay people should change, what i'm saying is why should they have to live with what almost every gay person says is hell, and that is trying to fit in a society that won't accept them.. Why?
i have to admitt that i had a tendancy to kiss another girl when i was a teenager, but i never did it....does that make me gay? i love men... but yeah, once in awhile i look at females and think to myself what a figure...and think sexually...that she would really be good in bed with a MAN. i don't know...maybe i'm bisexual, and don't want to admitt it.
i really need to know, scientifically speaking, is it really unchangeable, and created within us....is it not psychological, or hormonal?

I think guys that love on other guys sexually are cool but guys that take it up the butt or put it up the butt are not they are dangerous and nasty. How is that for offending peeps and yes drag queens freak me out same as clowns do. I don't like fems. I want a man to have a pair and stand up for his buds not run for the hills at the first hint of danger. I am g0y and I am proud of it. I would rip out my lung and give it to a friend if he needed one I would carry my bud across a desert if he was unable to make it. I would take a bullet for my buds. Don't mess with my friends. I am also tender on dudes and love to hold a man in my arms and skin on skin sliding together till you and your best bud has an orgasm is the best.

Are you gay Nico????

I like who I am and I don't care what others think. And I do like gay boys. I also like my lesbian girlfriend.

What I don't like are all these so called christians that are judging and playing around in places that they call evil. Unless they are curious why are they here??? They need to study the word some more and look at afew outside sources and stop being so ignorant. If you are homophobic go to church and get help for your own sins.

glow is a homophobe-look at her profile-she needs to go study

My opinion used to be very different from the one I now have.
I used to be cruel and hateful to all gays, my reason was I simply was ignorant.
I thought all gays were flamboyant and well, weird.
I never really gave them a chance, I had preconceived notions and was very set in my ways.
I realize now how wrong I was.
