I have a very irregular period. I can come twice a month, or stay on for two whole weeks. I am on birth control pills but I do not take them on a daily basis because they make me sick and I am not sexually active often. My boyfriend lives in another state and we only see each other once maybe twice a month. A few times when he has visited I was unlucky enough to have been on my period. I have found that if you take between 6-8 birth control pills at one time, you peiod will go off for about 24-36 hours. During that time you can have all the sex you want, but of course there is a con. After the 24-36 hour period has passed your period will return with a heavier flow, and you will have very very severe nausea. I have only done this like maybe three or four times. In my case the pro was worth the con. This is a decision that ony you can make.

Afraid you will basically would desire to stay with it. Or get a Mirena coil or Implanon inserted as with a solid share of female their era stops for the time the contraceptive is in-situ.

I don't know if this really works or not, but it seems like every time I have sex while on it, my period doesn't last as long. I don't know.
