how ironic! i received it from netflix this afternoon and tried to watch it, but to no avail... i saw the play on broadway and that was all right, but somehow i couldn't get into the movie. odd, huh?

It's unfortunate that they decided to take a lot of what was musical in the play and turn it into dialogue just to appeal to the masses, but I was very impressed with how it turned out. I was leary of Rosario Dawson as MiMi, but she was perfect! Girl can sing!

I've only seen the first part of it, but it seems really good. I'm going to have to *rent* it now, haha.

I thought it was great! They did a very good job of developing the characters and the music/songs was great! I found myself crying! It's a good testament to true friendships no matter what the circumstances.

I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!! I am a musical freak, and I love Rent and Wicked. I was surprised that Rosario Dawson could sing.
