Natural. Postpartum with a C-section is horrible - slow recovery, lots of pain. At least wth natural birth the pain is over fast and postpartum is not as bad. You may get sore especially if there was tearing or if you had an episiotomy, but it heals faster than a surgical incision. Plus, your uterus weakens after a c-section, making it harder to have a natural birth the next time around.

I'd rather do natural. I had a cesarean and even though I don't have a problem with the fact that it happened and I'm recovering very well, I'm very worn out from having to heal while getting little sleep and not being able to spend time or money to get healthy meals (thank goodness for my father in law helping with dinner). The body wasn't designed to have a child come out like it does in a c section.

I would go natural if I were you. There's much less recovery that way.I had no pain meds with any of my 3 deliveries.
It was painful, but not like what you see in the movies when the women are screaming thier heads off.I think that's way over doing it,really!
If you do it natural and can't deal with the pain well you could always get something to ease the pain or get an Epidural which will numb you from the waste down. And yes you will be able to push,it may make it alittle harder to push then if you were totally able to feel in that area, the nurses will help you.

By the time you are in labor, you don't care. When you see other mothers giving birth, it does look gross and painful but it has nothing to do with your own experience. It is like when you go to the gym, you don't want to see everything. Once you see your baby, all is forgotten. C-cections are very painful during recovery. Both are all different for everyone. You will hear all types of stories. Don't watch anymore births, it will freak you out for nothing.

i had natural w/ my first child w/ no drugs and she tore me allot over 100 stitches down there i also had a c-section w/ my second child after waking up from the surgery i hurt worse then natural. And after having my first child my body snapped back weight wise quicker then when i had the c-section, I'm still trying to loose the weight and my youngest is three.

i am a mother of 1, and am currently at my 40th week with my second child. i had my first natural, and HOPE i have this one natural. that's the way it's supposed to be unless there are complications. alot of my friends have had to do the c section, and it took them ALOT longer to recover afterwards. if there aren't any reasons for c section, i don't see why natural wouldn't be the way to go. that's why women have babies, and not men. our bodies were made for this. good luck either way you decide

I had a natural birth with no drugs, nothing, zero, zilch. It was painful. I would suggest a C-section
