The incoming server is a POP3 server, and the address is pop.mail.yahoo.com.

The outgoing server is an SMTP server, and the address is smtp.mail.yahoo.com.

Your email is your yahoo email address, including the @yahoo.com.

Your username is the part of your email before the @ sign. Your password is the same as your password on yahoo.

When setting up the SMTP server, go to "More Settings", then "Outgoing Server". Check "My Outgoing Mail Server requires authorization.

Make sure you DON'T check "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)."

Those settings should do it for you. Note that you can only use this if you are using a PAID account on Yahoo- the free only supports the webmail so Yahoo makes ad revenue.

Enjoy!

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com (Port 110)
Outgoing (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Port 25)
Account Name/Login Name: your Yahoo! ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com")
Email Address: your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., user@yahoo.com)

First, if you have a free Yahoo acount, you cannot do it. You have to upgrade to yahoo plus. If you have that, follow Yahoo's directions on the page: http://help.yahoo.com/mail/pop/pop-28.html

Also, if you want to use a program other than Outlook to access a free Yahoo account, use YPOPs! http://www.ypopsemail.com/

Have fun!
