I'm almost done with "The House of Thunder" right now and I really like it.

I think my favorite is Dragon Tears...this book had me on the edge of my seat, freaked out for days. Runner up is Intensity. And another good one is The Door to December, also a good thriller.

Odd Thomas, From the Corner of His Eye, and The Taking. Okay, that's 3 books, but these are some of the Kootz books that aren't like all the rest and were excellent reads. I got tired of Kootz writing the same old thing there for a while - you know the ones, always a weird supernatural beast or entity in a small but quaint town that's killing everyone. I personally got bored with all of those books because they were so predictable.

I went through a period when I read only Dean Koontz, and then I quit cold turkey. My favorites were "Whispers," "Watchers," and "Lightning"... though I enjoyed all of his books that I read. They really made me think about what might be possible.

I have to go with a classic like Watchers. I have only read 8 or 9 of his books, but I thought they were all good.

Odd Thomas and Forever Odd are my absolute faves. Only because you are making me choose. Life Expectancy, Watchers, Fear Nothing, and Sole Survivor too. Of course, that's in no particular order, nor can I name them all here.

Phantoms!

The movie stunk. But the book was outstanding!

The movies is nothing like the book - I hate when they say based on the book ....

Then it's nothing like the book!

I haven't read too many of his books, but out of the few I read, "Odd Thomas" is my favorite.

"Intensity". It's one of the few books I have read as an adult that actually scared me. It's also one of the few books I have read in one sitting.
