I saw it opening night and I totally liked it! But the original is a lot better... Liev Schriber is no Gregory Peck, that's for sure and the kid in this version is way too obvious. The original boy could give the camera the slightest look and it was just chilly.. but this one just downright scowls at everyone. Like I said, overall, it was good... just not WOW :)

I thought it would've been much better if other people in the theater could respect other people and understand that the $16-20 we spent to watch the MOVIE was not intended to listen to them yap the whole time! Anyway, I don't really remember the original, but I liked the remake pretty well. With a boyfriend named Damien, nothing could keep me from watching the Omen with him on 6/6/06!

My sister did and she said it wasnt that scarie exept for the part when the mother has the dream. I dont know any details but the movie reminded her of The House of Wax. Night mares to come.

The original was quality, though not as good as the book.
