I stay at home with my 2 kids for weeks 24/7. My husband is busy with work and working on our house 24/7 and I never get to spend much time with him anymore. I feel like we are drifting apart. My one daughter is having a sleep over tonight and cause its raining i just though my husband who I never spend time with would want to do something with me tonight since our daughter is gone for the night. Am I expecting to much of him?

You're joking, right? You are definitely not asking too much for your man to spend the little free time you both have without the kids together. Are you set on going out or could you perhaps "ramp" him into spending time together starting with an intimate evening at home? Next time you can remind him you two stayed in for him last time so it's his turn to accommodate your wishes.

I understand both sides there since my sister is in the same situation. Her husband works all the time and is tired but yet when he gets home she wants him to take over kid patrol, etc. I agree, kids are both parents responsibility and you both work very hard during the day regardless if it's staying home with kids or not. I don't think you are -- even if it's staying home and renting movie or going for walk or nice quiet dinner for two -- you guys should do something. Guys don't take hints very well so spell it out in black and white. ask what he has planned since the kids are away for the evening!!!!

No. Listen if he's away from home he probably has things he wants to do even if it's sitting in front of the tv, but your his girl and your needs should be met. I'm a mom with two babies and it's not easy to devote your life to a household and want some romance as well. Just make sure you communicate.

Sometimes us men get into a rut ma'am, and we stay there if the ladies do not speak to us.
So i suggest speak to him, suggest to him to have a break.
Communication is one of the most important aspects of successful partnerships.
Then you will also know if he thinks you are expecting too much, and you can work something out.
