m really close friends with a girl. At times, she calls me Hubi/Sweetie/Sunshine. She asked me out on a date and I said Yes. She then says that she just wants to be friends and was joking - I say OK.
Then she says she doesn't want a boyfriend ever because shes been hurt in the past and is looking for a husband. She askes me if I honestly like her - I say Yes. She says we should get to know each other - I say OK. A day later says she justs wants to be friends because she doesn't want to get hurt again and mess up our friendship!
What does it mean? Does she like me? Does she want to get married to me? Is she playing games?

Well if you can't figure her out, don't even entertain the idea of marrying her. It seems like she's in a limbo right now. She doesn't know what she wants. She thinks she likes you but she keeps holding back. Maybe there's a deeper issue, aside from the one where she's afraid to get hurt because of a past experience. Ask her straight out if she wants to be just friends or more than that. It's not fair to you for her to be playing you like that. If you're not ready to confront her yet, then just be her friend and get to know her better. Hang out, have fun, and see where it goes from there. But remember to set the line - if she starts playing with you again, then maybe it is the time to confront her.

She may or not be messing with you, I think she is confused and scared, and uncertain of the outcome if you two got together. I would ask her flat out, if she likes you or what. If she is messing with you, then it is very wrong, I have been there, so don't delay, find out.

She of course likes you and she expects you to tell her how you would never hurt her and how beautiful you think she is. If you would want to marry her ask her to marry you...this will tell for sure how she feels. Best wishes

She´s ambivalent, i.e. she wants something but also not, or she wants it but doesn´t dare, or she isn´t sure what she dares / wants .....she definitely likes you. Either she just isn´t sure she can trust you - or she likes you but doesn´t love you and is waiting for a HUSBAND to come along....

this is one confused girl. seems to me your best bet is treat her like a friend, have fun, and maybe she can sort through her feelings, and see you are a gentleman who wont play with her feelings.
